Please feel free to take what you need, when you need it.

We get new food weekly so stop by often!

BASIC NECESSITIES: The ongoing expense of basic necessities can be crippling to struggling families. So, to support families in our community, we have a food pantry that provides items such as diapers, wipes and feminine hygiene products at no cost to those in need.

HEALTHY FOOD: Much of the food offered is grown locally and we are proud to highlight the farms and farmers who help bring healthy, nutritious food to our community. We treat food as medicine– healthy food helps the body and mind thrive.

TAKE WHAT YOU NEED: We offer supports with a “take what you need” policy. We welcome participants and community members to come as often as they need to help alleviate financial stressors and other barriers that perpetuate poverty.

COMMUNITY PARTNERSHIPS: The Vermont community has been generous in its support of PCC’s efforts: GE Aviation of Rutland donated thousands of diapers, Stillwater Farm of Castleton donated grass fed beef, our ongoing partnership with The Vermont Foodbank opens doors to partnering with local farmers through the Vermonters Feeding Vermonters program and our Farm to School program brings the message to the plate and the classroom of the children in our Early Childhood program.

All is generously here to be shared with the families as we create meaningful relationships  that continue to pave the way for a healthier and more sustainable Rutland.
