Salary: $13.50 to $15.00 /hour

Rutland County Parent Child Center in Brandon is looking for a dedicated individual to provide food in our early childhood education and afterschool programs, and assist in the daily operations of our on-site food pantry. RCPCC is committed to providing children with healthy fresh options that are connected to Vermont’s rich history of farm to table eating. RCPCC is looking to hire someone who has a strong background in nutrition, food security, and locally sourced foods.

This person is responsible for preparing and serving breakfast, lunch, and snack daily as well as ensuring that ordering, inventory, and record keeping are completed with assistance from administration. The ability to interact with children and facilitate small group learning opportunities in regards to healthy eating is essential.

The ideal candidate should have strengths in the following areas: creative, collaborative team player, good communication skills, dependable, reliable transportation, strong organizational skills, and must pass a criminal background check.

Serve Safe certificate desired; however, we will train the right candidate on CACFP guidelines.
