Food Pantry Assistant

Salary: $12.00 /hour

We are looking for strong backs to support our food pantry! The ideal candidate will be able to lift 50 pounds continuously over short periods of time.
The following times are mostly picking up food at Vermont Foodbank and dropping off at one of our three sites or receiving deliveries. These are also the times (on Tuesday and Wednesday) to set up the tent for distribution.

Tuesdays 9:00 – 1:30
Wednesdays 8:45 – 1:30
Fridays 7:30 – 11:00

In addition, we have distribution at the following times. You may be on call for helping with distribution but these are also good times to build the boxes we will distribute.
Tuesdays 11:30 – 4:15/30
Wednesdays 1:00 – 5:00/15

Distribution is mostly handled by volunteers who are in place but there are gaps/cancellations and it would be helpful to have dependable backup.
