The Rutland County Parent Child Center (RCPCC) is hiring a Development Director to oversee our new 2Gen Campus, manage the agencies, federal, state and local grants, and support fundraising efforts.

Founded in 1984, RCPCC partners with families and individuals to encourage education and connection in the community. RCPCC provides a variety of services including early education, childcare, early intervention services, high school education for pregnant, parenting and at-risk youth, parenting groups, food pantries, playgroups and workforce development through increased social capitol.

The Development Director plays a critical role in ensuring the success and sustainability of RCPCC’s programs and services by fostering community relationships, managing campus operations, and securing funding through fundraising, grants and partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

Community Outreach:

· Engage with the community to promote the 2Gen Campus, including all RCPCC programming.

· Facilitate building and maintaining relationships and collaborations with community members, organizations, legislative partners and stakeholders.

· Promote RCPCC and the Vermont Parent Child Center Network’s core services.

Program and Site Coordination:

· Manage the use of the campus buildings.

· Ensure a robust flow of RCPCC programming and services, making sure all coordinating partners have appropriate access to facilities.

· Maintain campus cleanliness and operational needs.

Fundraising and Grant Management:

· Develop and implement strategies with support from the Executive Director (s) capabilities.

· Seek revenue opportunities through local and statewide partnerships.

· Cultivate relationships with potential donors and sponsors.

· Seek and manage funding through federal, state and local grants for existing and future programming.

Skills and Qualifications

· Preference given to those with a bachelor’s degree in social work, education or related field.

· MUST have experience in finance, grant writing and management, and fundraising.

· Strong organizational and coordination skills.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

· Experience in community outreach, partnerships and engagement.

· Knowledge of program management and facility operations.

· Commitment to a clean and functional campus environment.

Salary: $26-$28/hr

Full Time, Flexible Schedule
