How much does it cost to have a child in child care?

At the Parent-Child Center we accept subsidy as well as private pay tuition. We charge $688.50 per month regardless of the length of the month for a full time slot. Anything under 34 hours is considered part time. Part time is $4.60 per hour.

Is there a discount for more than one child?

We give families a discount for having more than one child in our center. Families receive a 20% discount for the second child and for every child after that.

What age groups do you serve?

We currently serve families with children from 6 weeks to 5 years of age at our Chaplin Ave. site in Rutland. Our Brandon Center serves six weeks through to age 12. Brandon has an after school program for the older group. (Our Outreach services serve a wide variety of ages.)

Do you offer parenting classes?

Is the Parent-Child Center the same as VAC?

The Parent-Child Center is proud to have a great collaboration with many of the other organizations in Rutland County but we are not the same thing. We work closely with agencies like RAVNAH, VAC, Rutland Mental Health and all the surrounding schools.
